Crispus, Caesar, 316-326. Follis (Bronze, 19 mm, 3.36 g, 5 h), a contemporary imitation, imitating Aquileia. IV CNISPVS NOB CHES (sic!) Laureate and cuirassed bust of Crispus to left, holding spear forward in his right hand and shield in his left. Rev. VIRTVS EXERCIT / S - F / AQP Vexillum inscribed VOT / XX between two seated captives. Cf. RIC 53 (for prototype). An attractive local imitation with a dark patina. Good very fine.
